Park and Townes:
An urban infill project within a half mile of the CBD of Greenville, West
Park and Townes is based on the typology of the stacked flat duplex condominiums.
This significantly increases the urban density while maintaining the single
family dwelling character prevalent in the adjoining neighborhood. Designed
per the Sustainable design strategies emphasize innovative storm water management
techniques through the use of recharge beds and a bio-retention swale. The
buildings themselves incorporate the architect’s standard green design strategies
and notably also include an increased use of rapidly renewable materials
such as bamboo flooring.
